In this work, I examine the impact of technology in our daily routines. I explore the visual patterns derived from transitional daily routines in social environments. There is connectivity through a common goal, which in turn, gives rise to new forms, shapes and patterns. I chose to represent various patterns of connectivity with a particular color for each one. My goal is to create an abstract visual of patterns, derived from real situations, that invite human interaction or curiosity.
I chose to create a template representing individuals in the shape of a cell phone. The cell phone has irreversibly impacted contemporary life. While more connected on various levels, increasingly disconnected on other ones. Impacted by technology socially, virtually, physically -- permanently.
